The Hinduja Group was founded by the ambitious entrepreneur Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja from the renowned town of Shikarpur, which was part of undivided India. As a visionary businessman and dedicated philanthropist, Parmanand Hinduja embarked on the global stage with the establishment of an office in Iran in 1919. Initially, the business was built on the foundations of Merchant Banking and Trade, with its headquarters in Iran until 1979, after which it relocated to Europe.
Under the leadership of Chairman Srichand Hinduja, with the support of his brothers Gopichand, Prakash, and Ashok Hinduja, the Group expanded its ventures into various sectors, including Automotive, Information Technology, Media, Entertainment & Communications, Infrastructure Development, Oil & Specialty Chemicals, Power, Real Estate, and Healthcare. These expansions spanned across continents.
