Introducing a proposed £250 million project that promises to transform Wembley with over 500 new homes, commercial spaces, a boxing gym, and a café.
Esteemed developers Canada Israel and Avanton have submitted their visionary plans to Brent Council, aiming to further rejuvenate the 2.5-acre Wembley Point location on Harrow Road. The mixed-use development, known as Stonebridge Place, is set to redefine the area.
The ambitious proposal features 515 homes of varying tenures, complemented by 1,200 square feet of commercial amenities. A state-of-the-art boxing gym with a public café, beautifully landscaped gardens, pedestrian-friendly boulevards, children's play areas, and serene water features are all part of the design.
The development will also include a vibrant civic square, perfect for hosting food markets, an exciting outdoor film festival, and a unique art and antiques market.

These new residences will add to the 439 homes already completed during the first regeneration phase, which notably saw the iconic Wembley Point Tower rebranded as the WEM Tower London.
Originally constructed in 1965, the conversion of the 21-storey Wembley Point Tower into a residential building was finalized in January.
Following extensive community and stakeholder consultations from December 2018 to January this year, the plans for Stonebridge Place have been refined to meet local needs.
The project envisions three striking new structures on the site, with two dedicated to residential purposes.
Out of the new homes, 341 are designated for market sale, with approximately a third reserved for affordable housing, comprising 57 shared ownership and 117 affordable rent units.
A distinctive 32-storey triangular tower, clad in glass and green terracotta, will host 266 market sale apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, along with a modern residential lobby and adaptable commercial space.
Another stepped building, ascending from 10 to 20 storeys, will boast a glass and beige brick façade with balconies, offering 249 mixed-tenure residences and commercial areas, along with a spacious podium garden on the first floor.
A dedicated facility for the local Stonebridge Boxing Club will be housed in a third building, which is three storeys high, featuring both the gym and a public café.
The entire site will be interconnected by Stonebridge Place, a green pedestrian-friendly route.
Canada Israel stands as the landowner and principal developer for this innovative scheme, while Avanton takes on the role of development manager and project consultant.
