In 2017, Entralon was selected by the London Borough of Brent, through the GLA’s London Development Panel, to undertake the redevelopment of the second phase of a multi-phase 2,400 home masterplan aimed at revitalizing South Kilburn. This endeavor is a collaborative effort involving Telford Homes, the London Borough of Brent, and their South Kilburn Regeneration team.
Spanning 3.2 acres between Cambridge Road and Kilburn Park Road, the site is conveniently located just 100 meters from Kilburn Park underground station. This phase is part of the comprehensive South Kilburn regeneration masterplan, promising 235 residential units. These include 123 new open market homes, 102 affordable social rent homes, and 10 shared equity homes, distributed across buildings ranging from four to eight stories.
The project is realized through a partnership between Telford Homes, the London Borough of Brent, their South Kilburn Regeneration team, and Notting Hill Genesis. Designed by Fielden Clegg Bradley Studios in collaboration with Alison Brooks Architects, Gort Scott Architects, and Grant Associates, the development was shortlisted for a Housing Design Award in 2017. Construction is currently in progress with an expected completion in 2021.
To promote health and wellbeing, the development plans include extensive landscaped areas for public enjoyment, a secure courtyard, and children’s play areas exclusively for residents. There will also be a new public pedestrian pathway running east-west through the site, connecting Granville Road to St Augustine’s Church, restoring the historic street layout.
