Skillcrown is pleased to reveal its latest contract with PA Housing to build a six-story development at Waldram Crescent, Lewisham SE23. This project will feature 22 new apartments along with ground floor commercial space.
The newly constructed apartments will be offered under the government's shared ownership program, addressing the crucial need for affordable housing in the Lewisham area. Located close to Forest Hill Station in Zone 3, residents will enjoy excellent transport links to the city center. Moreover, the development is conveniently situated near various amenities, including shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions like the Horniman Museum.
Skillcrown's appointment as the contractor for this £5.3 million initiative was facilitated through a detailed land transfer agreement organized by development agent City & Counties. Turner and Townsend have been designated as the Employer’s Agent to supervise the project's progress.
Construction is set to begin in July 2021, with a projected timeline of nearly two years, aiming for completion by April 2023.
