Why Are We Undertaking This Project?
- Reconstruction is necessary to deliver all the essential improvements for the estate.
- The upgrades can be implemented without increasing the rent for original tenants compared to if the estate were not rebuilt.
- We are constructing new apartments close to Haggerston station to minimize disruption and inconvenience for tenants during the redevelopment process.
How Will This Impact You?
- You will be offered a new home within the redeveloped estate at the same rent as if the estate had not been rebuilt. Please refer to the FAQs for more details on rents and charges.
- We will ensure you have a place to live during the reconstruction and will assist with your move, covering moving costs.
- Most current New Era tenants will receive accommodation in our new development on Kingsland Road, just a short walk from Haggerston station. Additional details about your move can be found in the FAQs.
- We are committed to listening to your feedback to ensure the redevelopment of New Era and the process of moving tenants works effectively for everyone.
