Shard Place (Shard Quarter)

Upon completion in 2021 Shard Place marks the third phase of the 2.5 million sq ft regeneration of Shard Quarter in London Bridge, providing a mixed-use destination of commercial, retail, leisure and residential assets.

British and European craftsmen have curated 176 sleek and modern lateral apartments which complement world class amenities and concierge service. Residents will have exclusive access to a private roof garden on the 16th floor and outdoor swimming pool on the 27th floor. Inspired by the unique features in The Shard, naturally ventilated winter gardens will be included in many of the fully furnished apartments.

The development of Shard Place will significantly enhance the public realm, providing 13,000 sq ft for the general public to enjoy while connecting to The Shard, The News Building and London Bridge station.

Shard Place will bring 176 high-quality studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom furnished apartments to Shard Quarter. The residential space is set across 26 storeys and complemented by new landscaped public space providing retail, cafes, bars and restaurants. A double-height amenity space located on the 16th floor will open onto a communal roof garden to be enjoyed by the residents.

Shard Place completes the trilogy of the Renzo Piano-designed buildings at Shard Quarter. The building features a triple-glazed façade similar to The Shard, and is designed to ‘float’ nine metres above ground level. The space beneath Shard Place creates 13,000 sq ft of new public realm, which will offer a calm oasis away from the bustling commuter route.

Shard Place is the third phase of development at Shard Quarter. The first two phases, The Shard and The News Building, have together brought commerce and high-end leisure, restaurant and hotel facilities to the area, transforming it into a vibrant and sought-after neighbourhood.
