These design elements help to break down the overall structure into smaller, appealing residential units. The stacked volumes allow for gradual setbacks, minimizing the building's impact on its surroundings.
Tower Station is strategically located at the intersection of the bustling Finchley Road and Hendon Way. The development replaces a former petrol station and historic clock tower on a Brownfield Site. The construction creates a sheltered, landscaped courtyard, offering a peaceful retreat within the urban environment.
The original clock tower from the Esso service station was a notable landmark in the area. This project pays homage to the site's history by reintroducing the clock tower as a key feature.
The project team, along with County Tower Property, is currently in Stage 5 of the construction process for Tower Station, with completion anticipated in 2023. The development offers a series of scenic views overlooking the Hampstead and Hendon neighborhoods, framed by its distinctive pixelated architecture.
